Poster Dimensions

The dimensions of the poster boards are 6’ x 4’. Posters are to be mounted on the boards using single-sided Velcro – this will not be supplied, so please bring your own.

Poster Prizes

The CSBMCB and Roche Diagnostics offer poster prizes to the graduate students and post-doctoral fellows judged to have presented the best posters.

• CSBMCB Awards for Best Poster Presentation – two awards for post-doctoral fellows.
• Roche Diagnostics Awards for Best Poster Presentation –three awards for graduate students; the Jake Duerkson Poster Award is awarded for the best poster in the area of Cell Biology.

If you would like to be considered for a poster prize, please indicate this at the appropriate point in the abstract submission web page.

A team of judges drawn from the invited speakers and other scientists attending the conference will visit the posters that are entered in the contest, to assess the scientific content and visual appearance of the poster, as well as the presenter’s ability to explain their work.

Poster prizes will be presented at the Conference Banquet and Awards Presentation ceremony on Saturday, March 8, 2008.
