Travel Information:

Pacific Coach Lines (PCL) has frequent, daily departures from Vancouver International Airport via YVR Whistler Skylynx, providing direct service to Whistler Village with door-to-door service to your Whistler accommodation available. PCL also provides daily return service from Whistler to downtown Vancouver and YVR (Vancouver International Airport). The duration of the trip is approximately three hours.

Driving directions from Vancouver to Whistler

The drive to Vancouver-Whistler takes about 2 to 2.5 hours, depending on road and traffic conditions. Distance: approx. 119 kilometres or 74 miles

1. Drive east out of the airport on Grant McConachie Way.

2. Follow the Hwy 99 North signs over the Arthur Laing Bridge onto Granville Street.

3. Follow Granville Street north crossing the Granville Street Bridge.

4. Shift to the far right lane of the bridge and take the Seymour Street exit.

5. Follow Seymour Street north until Georgia Street.

6. Turn left onto Georgia Street.

7. Georgia Street takes you through Vancouver's lovely downtown core heading west, through Stanley Park and over the majestic Lions Gate Bridge.

8. Exit the bridge on the Marine Drive West turnoff.

9. Shift to the far right lane once on Marine Drive.

10. Take the first right onto Taylor Way.

11. Travel up the hill and turn left onto Highway 1. 12. Follow the signs and take Exit 2 (just before the ferry terminal) to Whistler Hwy 99.

Directions to the Aava Whistler Hotel

1. Once you reach Whistler Village, turn right heading to Village Gate Boulevard. This is the fifth set of traffic lights from Function Junction at the south end of Whistler. (Function Junction to Village Gate Boulevard is approximately 15 minutes).

2. At the next lights, turn right to Whistler Way. Follow Whistler Way around to the right until you reach the Aava Whistler Hotel on your right at 4005 Whistler Way, just past the Whistler Golf Club.

The Resort of Whistler Shuttle Information:

The WAVE (Whistler and Valley Express) operates regular bus trips to all of Whistler’s neighborhoods for a small fee. Buses leave from the Village bus loop. There is also a free Village Shuttle with stops in Whistler Village, Village North, Upper Village and the Benchlands.
